Hard Candy Cosmetics

Review by Lisa VanWilliams

Hard Candy Cosmetics just celebrated their 20th Anniversary. Alicia Silverstone launched the brand into the limelight when she wore their sky blue nail polish on Letterman back in 1995 while promoting "Clueless". They are known for their wild packaging, and a flair for the dramatic, plus they don't test on animals and they have vegan options. They offer over 261 products and among them include their popular nail polishes, eye shadow, blush, mascara, eye liners, lip stick, lip gloss, & lip serums.

Hard Candy offers an affordable line of products and they are carried at Walmart locations throughout the U.S. You can find out more about the company and view their complete line here:

They sent us some Baked Illuminating Duo's and some Baked Shadow-Spheres to check out. Great colors for whatever mood or style you are trying to set.

The Baked Eye shadow palette includes a range of ten coordinated hues, a mirror, and two applicators. The dark shades can be used wet, as eyeliner to create a sultry smoky eye. They go for $8 a set.

The Baked Illuminating Duo brightens the complexion with soft focus pearls to blur imperfections and creates a radiant glow and also goes for $8.
